Lab-Grown vs. Natural Diamonds
Both are real diamonds, but they differ dramatically in rarity, resale value and disclosure rules.
How to tell them apart
Only advanced lab instruments (photoluminescence, DiamondView fluorescence imaging) reliably separate them. Lab reports state the origin, and girdles are often inscribed 'LG' or 'Laboratory-Grown'.
Value over time
